This page has a Contact Us section on the right hand side ....Members are urged to email their thoughts on the Website, the Association, the Guidelines or anything of interest. Members are forwarded a copy of our newsletter around the middle of each month to keep them informed of recent developments and items of interest. Membership renewal notices have recently been sent out. Dues must paid by 14 July 2008 to remain financial. We currently boast more than 100 Proud Members who can legitimately lay claim to saving this Industry from extinction. We trust you will continue to support the Association which is continuing in so many ways to protect your interests. |

Training -
We do not intend holding a training course in the forseeable future, the last one being at the CTC Salisbury on 29 February 2008. The QWC have recently advised that 84% of operators have been trained and registered ...yep, the Easter Bunny really does exist and Elvis works on the third floor of the Executive Building. New-comers to the Industry will still need to be trained and we are presently formulating a programme to effectively do this by mail.

Level 6 -
We were successful in maintaining the status quo for our Industry thanks to members adhering to the Guidelines established under Level 5 and some welcome, unseasonal September rainfall topping up the catchment areas.
The matters we raised with the Ombudsman last December are currently being investigated (11 June 2008) and the outcome will hopefully be reported on in the next monthly Newsletter for Members.
Members are urged to contribute to the process of ongoing negotiation with the Commission by raising matters of concern with the Association, preferably by email. |
